Strawberry cookies
Serves: 15
Ingredients:
- 50g light brown sugar
- 120g unsalted butter, melted
- 1 medium egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 9g Nesquik Strawberry Milkshake Powder
- 120g whole wheat flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
You will also need:
- A baking tray lined with parchment paper
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C, (160°C for fan ovens) Gas Mark 4.
- Add the brown sugar and butter to a large mixing bowl and using a wooden spoon or an electric whisk, mix until completely combined. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix again.
- Add the dry ingredients to the bowl and mix until you have a smooth dough.
- Shape the dough into equal sized balls, approximately the size of a walnut. Place on the baking sheet leaving enough distance between the balls for them to spread slightly, then flatted slightly with the back of a spoon.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden then remove from the oven. Allow the cookies to cool for 5 minutes on the tray then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
Store in an airtight container for up to three days.
