Banana Pancakes
Banana Pancakes
Ingredients:
- 1 medium ripe banana
- 40g wholemeal flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 9g Nesquik Banana Milkshake Powder
- 1 medium egg
- 60ml semi skimmed milk
- 1 tsp vegetable oil (for cooking)
- 140g fresh berries
You will also need:
- A large non stick frying pan
Method
- Add all the dry ingredients to a large mixing bowl and whisk until completely combined. In another bowl or large jug, add the wet ingredients and whisk until completely combined.
- Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and pour in the wet ingredients. Whisk together until there are no lumps and the batter is completely smooth.
- Grease the frying pan with some kitchen roll dipped in oil and place over a medium heat.
- Add a small ladle of batter to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until you see bubbles appear on the top and the underside of the pancake is golden brown. Flip the pancake and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the pancake and keep warm whilst you repeat the process with the remaining pancake batter.
Serve with a mix of about 140g of fresh berries.
