Banana Pancakes
Ingredients:
- 1 medium ripe banana
- 40g wholemeal flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 9g Nesquik Banana Milkshake Powder
- 1 medium egg
- 60ml semi skimmed milk
- 1 tsp vegetable oil (for cooking)
- 140g fresh berries
You will also need:
- A large non stick frying pan
Method:
Add all the dry ingredients to a large mixing bowl and whisk until completely combined. In another bowl or large jug, add the wet ingredients and whisk until completely combined.
Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and pour in the wet ingredients. Whisk together until there are no lumps and the batter is completely smooth.
Grease the frying pan with some kitchen roll dipped in oil and place over a medium heat.
Add a small ladle of batter to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until you see bubbles appear on the top and the underside of the pancake is golden brown. Flip the pancake and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Remove the pancake and keep warm whilst you repeat the process with the remaining pancake batter.
Serve with a mix of about 140g of fresh berries
